Have you heard about Globe? Not Globe Telecom, but the famous and home of the original Fresh Lumpia in Raon, Manila -- Globe Lumpia House.

You can consider Globe Lumpia House as one of the classic carenderia of fresh lumpia. I think it was the oldest lumpia house I ever known. Just a trivia Globe Lumpia House was founded since 1956.

Mt. Natib - Rainy Climb

Mt. Natib is inactive starvolcano located in the northern end of Bataan Peninsula. Even if is a volcano, there were no historical eruptions or volcanic activity was recorded. It is also the Bataan’s Highest Peak with an elevation of 1,253 meters. And in 1945, it was declared a protected area of Bataan National Park. Mt. Natib is located in Barangay Tala, Orani, Bataan.

In 2008, Natib was closed for the reason that ongoing military operations have been conducted on the area. And in 2009, it was reopened again for climbers. As being the highest mountain in Bataan, most mountaineers dream to climb Mt. Natib. Whenever I heard of Mt. Natib, it always comes to my mind is the “limatik” or blood leeches. May be because of the articles I read about Mt. Natib and seeing the hiking photographs from the internet.

It’s time for me to say “Goodbye Alcohol” and other drinks and foods that produces acids. After experiencing an Acid Peptic Disease, I finally decided to quit drinking of beer and alcoholic beverages. To continue my active life and activities.

To give you an idea with Acid Peptic Disease:

In June of 2010, Climbers Grill was officially opened and it was first named Outdoor Grill, but due to registration issue they come up as Climbers Grill. I remembered that the grill was forced to be open when Kaladkad Tour Club held their post-climb for the “Let end the Summer Right” an advocacy for Pundaquit Traverse Anawangin Clean-up Drive. Bong Pascua and Marvin Ortega of Philippine Peaks Mountaineering Club are the one who started the restaurant-bar.

Climbers Grill is a resto-adventure-bar feel like home. Were in they serve foods and drinks in a very affordable prize. It is known as a venue for pre-climb and post-climb meeting of different outdoor groups in the metro. It is the place where food lovers and outdoor enthusiasts meet up. It is known for its quotation “Ayaw mo na… Gusto pa nila…”. Where in you can drink until you drop.
