Are you from the Dark Side or not? Nikon VS Canon


Nikon was known to be the Dark Side may be because of the lenses they have. Because it's rival company Canon have this white lenses. But still there is no definite answer.

    I use both.
    If people consult me on which is better, I either tell them:

    Nikon lenses and Canon bodies

    or

    get whatever you want, it doesn't matter. if you love photography, you wont really care of the brand.

    i have a canon, i have a nikon.
    my problem with canon is their after sales customer service. i submitted my canon camera for repair to their branch here in Legazpi City, it's under warranty period. it's almost two months and my canon camera has not been repaired, really need it so bad last December and still has not been repaired. i followed up personally and i was advised i will be informed as to the status .if i call their branch here, the line is too difficult to get access. my God, what's taking it so long? so, better still, think twice about buying canon camera, the problem is after sales customer service . pre and post customer service is very important .i hope the canon management will be aware of this problem

    Canon is the biggest and #1 camera maker in the world.
    Canon got tons of excellent lenses than nikon and photographs depends on the quality lenses.
    I'm a professional sports photographer who switched from nikon to canon...and no regrets, canon really rules.

    My point and shoot is a Canon(Ixus) pero for DSLR,its a D80 Nikon...I find the point n shoot of Canon okay(sharp)(but bad after service,true)...but for DSLR i find the Nikons more vivid and sharp than Canon DSLRs.
