Climbers Grill

In June of 2010, Climbers Grill was officially opened and it was first named Outdoor Grill, but due to registration issue they come up as Climbers Grill.  I remembered that the grill was forced to be open when Kaladkad Tour Club held their post-climb for the “Let end the Summer Right” an advocacy for Pundaquit Traverse Anawangin Clean-up Drive. Bong Pascua and Marvin Ortega of Philippine Peaks Mountaineering Club are the one who started the restaurant-bar.

Climbers Grill is a resto-adventure-bar feel like home. Were in they serve foods and drinks in a very affordable prize. It is known as a venue for pre-climb and post-climb meeting of different outdoor groups in the metro. It is the place where food lovers and outdoor enthusiasts meet up. It is known for its quotation “Ayaw mo na… Gusto pa nila…”. Where in you can drink until you drop.
Marvin Ortega: "Ayaw ko na, Gusto pa nila",
Jonnel Ong Lacaba: classic...."AYAW MO NA, GUSTO PA NILA"...amazing! hahaha
I recommend trying their Sizzling Liempo while drinking ice cold Red Horse or San Mig Light. It’s a best buy!

A Lion Called Christian Full Documentary

A Lion Called Christian is a touching story of love and friendship between human and animals. It is also a You Tube sensation that touches everyone's heart.

Christian was a lion originally purchased by Australians John Rendall and Anthony "Ace" Bourke from Harrods department store of London in 1969 and ultimately reintroduced to the African wild by conservationist George Adamson. One year after George Adamson released Christian to the wild, his former owners decided to go looking for him to see whether Christian would remember them. He did, and with him were two lionesses who accepted the men as well.

Toughest Place to be a Bus Driver

Toughest Place to be a Bus Driver is a documentary from BBC. Sad to say that Manila was chosen to take the challenge.

In the second programme in the series where British workers accept the challenge to do their jobs in some of the toughest conditions in the world, London bus driver Josh West heads to Manila, the capital of the Philippines and the most densely populated city on Earth. Josh will be driving a Jeepney, a colourfully decorated, adapted jeep which has no power steering, dodgy lights and an uncomfortable seat. His host is Rogelio Castro and together they brave the chaos of the streets. It's a hair-raising and often hilarious ride, but Josh also learns about the incredible over-crowding and devastating poverty of Manila. He forms a strong bond with Rogelio and is moved by the daily struggle of an ordinary Filipino working to feed his family. It's an emotional roller coaster and Josh returns a changed man, aware that all the separates his life from Rogelio's is the country he happened to be born in.

This documentary doesn't just tackle about the job as a bus driver, but the condition of most people living in th Philippines particularly in Metro Manila. I just want to share this documentary.

It looks that Pinoy Rock died after the farewell of The Rock Radio – NU 107 last November of 2011. Many of us feel bad about it. NU DJ's guesting on his UStream because they missed the old station, they miss each other, and they miss us. I believe this started here.

Now, they will rockin’ once more not in the radio station. But in DIG Radio – the first internet based rock station.

Balanga Public Market - The Cleanest Public Market in Bataan

So far the cleanest public market I've seen is Balanga Public Market in Bataan. The only wet market that doesn’t have a stinky smell and the floor was all in tiles.

Sa Kambas ng Lipunan (On the Canvas of Society)

Sa Kambas ng Lipunan (On the Canvas of Society) by Joey Velasco.

From joey Velasco's Biography Site - www.joeyvelasco.net
Joey Velasco (March 18, 1967 – July 20, 2010) is a Filipino visual artist who dared to journey in a field, gingerly trodden by Filipino artists-religious art. His most notable piece is "Hapag ng Pag-asa" (Table of Hope), a recasting of the "Last Supper," where Christ shares a meal with hungry street urchins.
