St. Dominic de Guzman Parish is located in Abucay, Bataan and was constructed in 1587. It is one of the oldest churches in Bataan who becomes the witness of the Spanish era. It is also one of the historical markers in World War II (1942-1945). Right beside the Spanish structured church is a public cemetery.
St. Dominic was the the founder of the Order of Preachers (the Dominicans) was a man who led an austere life dedicated to God. He traveled widely, but always in humility, without pomp or retainers, and often even without his shoes. His feast day was held on the 8th of August.
