6UNDERGROUND - Live & Raw

6UNDERGROUND is a music venue in the Philippines established in 2004 that was founded by Filipinos from fields of music, photography, and acting. They employed a venue where a prior rock bar once flourished in the 1990s called Kalye. Also known as 6UG, it gives a chance for new bands to perform their original Filipino music as well as for established acts to nurture their fan base at the bar level.
In 2006, Glass Tower, the building where the old 6Underground was housed, was purchased by a corporation whose plans were to used the property as a new thrift bank. The bar transferred to a new place in Ortigas Center and renamed the venue 6Underground Live & Raw.

The Real Christopher Mc Candless a.k.a. Alexander Supertramp

Christopher Johnson McCandless (February 12, 1968 – August 1992) was an American itinerant who adopted the name Alexander Supertramp and hiked into the Alaskan wilderness with little food and equipment, hoping to live a period of solitude. Almost four months later, weighing only 67 pounds (30 kg; 4 st 11 lb), he died of starvation near Denali National Park and Preserve. Inspired by the details of McCandless's story, author Jon Krakauer wrote a book about his adventures published in 1996 titled Into the Wild. In 2007, Sean Penn directed a film of the same title, with Emile Hirsch portraying McCandless. McCandless's story is also the subject of a 2007 documentary by Ron Lamothe named The Call of the Wild.

Canon 60D vs 50D

Differences of Canon EOS 60D to Canon EOS 50D

Placing the 50D alongside the 60D it becomes clear that the new camera is not a simply a direct upgrade but a repositioned model. The most obvious difference is that it's smaller and, of course, no longer features a metal body.
  • Higher resolution sensor (17.9MP vs. 15.1MP)
  • Accepts SD, rather than CF memory cards
  • No flash sync socket
  • Wireless Speedlight control
  • Articulated 3:2 high resolution LCD screen
  • Plastic body shell (8% weight saving)
  • Standard ISO range extends to 6400, rather than 3200
  • User-definable Auto ISO upper limit
  • HD video recording 1080 p30/25/24 or 720p60/50 plus cropped 640 x 480 movie mode
  • New features: in-camera raw conversion, ambience settings, creative filters, more JPEG options
  • No joystick, no multi-flash support, simplified top plate & info panel, only one Custom mode, no AF micro-adjust
  • Slightly reduced customization options
  • Redesigned control layout with slightly fewer buttons
  • Lower burst rate

Over the next five days Ralston examines his life and survives the elements to finally discover he has the courage and the wherewithal to extricate himself by any means necessary, scale a 65 foot wall and hike over eight miles before he is finally rescued. Nikon VS Canon

Are you from the Dark Side or not? Nikon VS Canon

Nikon was known to be the Dark Side may be because of the lenses they have. Because it's rival company Canon have this white lenses. But still there is no definite answer.

Hidden Tapsihan

Hidden Tapsihan is famous in Cavite area. It is known for it's delicious vinegar for best tandem for their tapsilog (Tapa, Sinangag at Itlog) and other affordable variation of silog menus. It was called Hidden Tapsihan because of it's location. It's quite hard to find because it's located on a iskinita (a steep street) of Barangay Wakas. According to my friend Adrian, a true blue Caviteño, it has four different branches in Cavite, the three other branches are in Kalayaan Road (Kawit, Cavite); Barangay Habay (Bacoor, Cavite) and in Tanza, Cavite.

How go to Hidden Tapsihan in Barangay Wakas, Kawit, Cavite?

Aguinaldo Shrine

Aguinaldo Shrine is the ancestral home of our first Philippine President, General Emilio Aguinaldo.  It was first built in 1845 in Kawit, Cavite. It is the site of the historic Proclamation of Philippine Independence on June 12, 1898. It was declared the national shrine in June 1964 after the death of General Emilio Aguinaldo.

The shrine is currently a museum and it's open for public.
